The Day Before Thanksgiving

It's the Day Before Thanksgiving
and what do I smell?
The sweet tangy aroma of cranberries do tell.

and what do I get to try?
a little nibble of homemade apple pie.

It's the Day Before Thanksgiving
and what tidbits do I see?
giblets and stuffing in my doggie bowl...yippee!

Wednesday, Whoop-de-do

I've always liked Wednesday. The day marks the middle of the week and plus, it's a fun word, Wednesday, don't you think? Did anyone else learn to spell the word phonetically, as in, Wed Nes Day. Well, maybe that's just me.

Oh, M made homemade split pea soup. Gotta high-tail it to the kitchen for some yummy hot soup.

Veteran's Day
