Today, our dear friend E died after a lengthy battle beginning last December. Our thoughts are with her son now and we hope she will be his special guardian from above.
We'll always remember you. Thank-you for being our friend over the years! We're celebrating your life at one of your favorite spots soon. We'll be sure and add a little salsa.

Been a Bit Under the Weather
I've been a lazy dog. First the heat and then I get a little sick. No fun! Ok, I'm ready to rock this block again. My buddy Mocha is on vacation with his family. They're visiting Hearst Castle and then on to San Francisco.
I'm thinking of going camping soon. Doesn't that sound fun? I hear the waterfalls in Hallow Grove calling my name again. There is nothing better than chasing frogs and splashing in a stream. Ok, I'll make an exception...a freshly fried catfish with butter and lemon over a firepit under the skies of shooting stars.

Earthgrazers in the sky!
Ok, so I don't have a photo because my paws aren't so coordinated after dark. However, if you're as nocturnal as I am, maybe you can catch a Perseid earthgrazer on film and send it to me? Sounds good to me. And even if you don't catch one on film, I'd love to hear from you anyhow.
For those who love a good shooting star night...head on out tonight between 8pm until 10pm your local time and look toward the Northern sky. That's right, it's that time of year. Perseids are abound in the sky above. The moon may cause problems viewing, but you can still try before the moon rises.
I tried last night and saw 2 spectacular Perseids! Once you see one, you can't wait to see another!
